Her father's left leg got amputated due to diabetes.
Her mother had a fell after she gave birth to her 2 months later.
Her mother then hurt her spine and became disabled.
Her mother could not move at all.
Her mother stayed and lied and carried out her activities in that bed for 9 years.
Her mother had phobia of walking.
Her mother is afraid of wheelchairs.

Because of that,
Their family's life got completely disrupted.

Her father had to resort to sell newspaper downstairs earning only $200-$300 a month.
Her mother just lie at her bed everyday waiting to be fed, cleaned and everything.

And the "Her" is only 9 years old.

She's the only child in the family and she has to support the whole family. She has to helped clean her mother bowels and cook meals for her everyday. She has to help clean up the house.


Omg, i watched the Channel 8's 8pm show - Life Transformers. I will try not to miss any episodes. It's super touching. I can't help but teared when i saw how brave this little girl was.

Christopher Lee and Quan Yi Feng asked the girl,
"Do you like toys?"
"Yes"
"Do you like teddy bears?"
"Yes"
"Where did you get your stationaries and clothes from?"
"Some are gifts from others...some are bought"
"Do you want to see your mom walk?"

Omg, i can't help but teared when she answered this question. Even C Lee and QYF can't help but teared.

I was really deeply touched by how sensible she is. So sensible that it was so heart wrenching. 9 years old. She can't even lead her teenage life like us but all she has to do is to come home everyday after school and do her homework, helped her father selling newspapers and later cooked meals for the mom.

This show really triggered my thinking, my actions.

Many of us can't realize how fortunate are we to live in a home whereby everything is spoon fed.
