The last day of 2008. To conclude, Year 2008 has not been a very smooth sailing year for me Don't really like. Apart from the Vietnam/China holiday, there wasn't much good this year for me to keep. Bad habits to be kicked, Bad attitudes to be changed. Study hard. Year 2009, I'm looking forward to it with great hopes and expectations. New mindset, new goals, new hopes. A brand new promising 2009. YEAR 2009! I'M READY! And that's the way i want it.

Friday A last minute plan by Isaac Loh calling us whether we want to go JB for fun Thursday night. So all of us 爽快答应! So off to JB the next morning. Eat a nice mee hoon kway Jackson brought us to. A nice wanton mee and nice shopping at some Pagwan Plaza. Bought back some of malaysian's product. Especially their tao-sha-bia" (read it in hokkien dumb dumb). It's awwwwwwww nice! At about 5.40pm quickly left JB and faster go home to change and leave for city hall to meet up with my ex VA buddies/colleagues for dinner. Dinner was at Hong Kong Cafe. "Ok!" "Alright!" "Juice ah!" "Lose Attitude liao la!" "Li Eh Zai Eh!" "Carlist!" "Bell ring number 1...." I could still remember these words used when we worked at VA last time. :) Nothing but happy moments! That was the time......money was spent like water but no one cares. L O L . After that went to a nearby Minds Cafe to play board games and chit chat. FUN!     I love this chill'out place.  Stupid pig game.  Blockus. I love this game.  Not forgetting a group photo before we go! It was nice catching up with them to know about the latest information about the others. Certainly hope to meet up more in future. Saturday Due to the late night LAN-NING at home till 4am last time, i was super tired that i just wanted to sleep till 12pm. But thanks to Dad, Mom and Grandma's noise and Dad's loud voice to keep asking me to wake up, my 睡眠 was affected! Super noisy! HA HA HA! Today was a busy day! Had to prepare for my one of my sister's important phase in her life- Her 21st birthday! 50 guests! Mum was afraid there was not enough dishes provided by the caterer, so we decided to prepare more. Sotong balls and my-soon-to-be-my-trademark dish, prawn salad. Oh yea, HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY PZ! 21- the key to freedom for you! Lots of joy, fun and laughter and may everything works smoothly be it in your studies or work!  Yea! Heard from pz's friends that it was good!    Notice it? All my cousins are girls. Those males are all either in their 20s or married already. Poor me. Youngest male in the family. Anyway, had a great day and also a tiring one. Nice catching up with my cousins and relatives. Sunday It was after Lay Peng messaged me at 2pm that i realised we had to meet to do our gift exchange! Zzzz! Headed over to LayPeng house, eat, buy bubble tea, played Mj and DD. Shihui still want to suck my money. You all lucky i left earlier...if not i also don't dare to open my eyes to see what's gonna happen. (shows cocky face *opps*) Rushed home as there's a family dinner tonight! Dad has got a $50 gift voucher from Grand Plaza Park Hotel. Indulge At Park.  The entrance-Indulge at Park.  My Beer Fish n Chips.  Menu.  Sis's Seafood Ariabietha.  Mom's and Dad's Chicken Rice. Lose to Meritus Mandarin 20 times.   I love this photo. I'm just amazed by their desserts. Very splendid, isn't it?  Some of their buffet spread food. Nice dinner :) There are more photos but i'm lazy to dump them into blogger already. Sch term break has come to an end. Back to school now again. Assignments, tests, projects and EXAMS. I just don't want to think about it. However, i'm going to work hard for my GPA! Keep believin' keep shining. That someday im gonna see the light.   And it's christmas in my heart;

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Christmas dinner at cousin's house. Just two blocks away anyway.   Turkey, Casserole, Prawn Salad, TomYam Mussels, Breads, Ham, RedWine, Marshmallows, Pumpkin, Chocolate Cookies. Sunday, December 21, 2008 @6:36 PM IMAGE HEAVY POST!Just some updates. Isaac's Christmas Dinner @ The Metz on Thursday. The dinner got me so so so tired after that. Woke up like 9am and headed to market to get the other ingredients needed to prepare my Prawn Salad and Casserole. This two dishes' ingredients just cost me a freaking 40 dollars + Sorry mum!  Preparing the prawn salad at home. Headed down to cousin's house just 2 blks away to cook and prepare the casserole. Had no idea wad the hell casserole is until i went to google it. Whipped up a storm at their kitchen. =X Slice, chop, cut, cook, wash-ED. I quite enjoy making dishes sometimes.  Some ingredients for the Casserole.  This Casserole needs alot of tomatoes. Like 12? Plus tomato soup  Fry, frying, fried!  Still frying. Now with the beef added in.  Janelle mashing the potatoes with all her mighty might!  送入洞房！Haha! No la! 送入 Oven!  My food definitely looks good. My compliment-many-many prawn salad's behind in the blue bowl!   The swimming pool is nice.  Some of the girls &  Some of the boys.  The background is nice :) I just realised i keep using the word nice. Hmm. A better word, pleasant? I could still recall how my secondary english teacher will BAN 3 words to be used in her lesson or in our essays. NICE, EXCITING and INTERESTING. I'm certainly not a good student as you can see. To be using NICE everywhere! But she rocks cause she's the superstar that got the whole class to pass English for 'O's!   Drunkard Thomas. Sorry people if this photo has caused you to leave my blog reading halfway due to the disgusted and unglam sight. Hahaha. Ignore him.   BI0702 who attended the dinner :) Sunday was 冬至. It means is eat 汤圆！ 大家吃了又老一岁了！ Helped my mum to made the glutinous ball the night before if not she can never sleep by 4am.  Nice.  Nya's Nya's 汤圆! Mama Mia! Christmas's present in advance! And thanks glenn and isaac, for this great great birthday present- BRAUN BUFFEL wallet. Like Omg. Although i had to choose it myself and the surprise is not there, but still THANKS GUYS !  Oh and thanks Shi Hui for the white berms. I love it. I didn't take a photo of the berms cause like it's weird taking a photo of a white berms when people know what's a white berms? Haha. (P.S Later you complain! HAHAHA) Christmas eve's dinner spent with my dad and my sis. Had some nice 红斑炉 just at my house's coffeeshop!  Was toooooo boredzxzx at home so decided to watch a late night movie with jieying, yongsiang, kenneth, qinjie and vinoth. :S Caught Bedtime Stories. It's a very funny show and i loved it. Love the creation and Adam Sandler the main lead that make the show so nice to watch.  Okay people, i think its quite long until it's quite tiring to blog any longer. Just some updates anyway. Christmas dinner at aud's house later. :) MERRY CHRISTMAS! This's the season to be jolly, fralalalala, lalalala.

I felt that this 2 weeks holiday came a little weird. Anway, Out with Jie Ying to Bugis for some Christmas Gift hunting. But, to no avail, after scouting around Bugis Junction a few rounds. And, I went in to Bugis Street after 83741831 years today. My impression of that place is still the same. That place never fails to make me giddy. Every where is like all the uncouth and weird people. Every where i can hear all the crude language. Every where i see 10 dollars and all the blink blink and dang dang. So hard to move about. I'm sorry but i just cant stand that place. Although that place has cheap stuff. Ha, don't know why jy can stand it! It was really painful. Will be avoiding that place UNLESS necessary. Isaac's Christmas Dinner @ The Metz on Thursday! Have to start preparing Prawn Salad and Lasagne which i have even yet to get the ingredients. Anway, catch Miss No Good, 不良笑花, It's quite a nice show and all the songs are nice.  So i have missed lots of episodes from the show already. =X Okay, just a random update. Byes. Christmas is drawing nearer...WHAT TO DO? It's time.

Finally i found some time to blog. Cause it's HOLIDAYS! Not really prepared for the holidays at all as i'm still in the school mode. I want a part time job so i can get Xmas Presents for everyone!! HELP! Busy with tests and assignments this few days. Resume and cover letter writing...preparing for interview ICA, just took half of my mind away! Anway, photos from Jieying's and Sabrina's birthday celebration last Friday!  Twist, birthday girls!  I just love this photo!  Besties :D Where the best of everything happens. Seriously, please visit a shrink. You really need one. |
